My life hasn’t followed a straight line either.
My career began in nursing — work I loved and expected to continue. Then a serious accident changed that path completely. It became patently clear to me that life can change in an instant.
My life went in directions I hadn’t planned, bringing different careers, challenges, opportunities and experiences along the way. Looking back, there are meaningful parts of my life grew from a change I would never have chosen.
I went on to build a successful career in senior leadership and executive roles. But somewhere amongst the career, responsibilities and expectations, I realised I’d become very good at being who other people needed me to be — and I’d lost touch with me.
I didn’t need to throw away
the life I’d built. I needed to reconnect with myself,
and in many ways that experience led me to where I am today.

The experience I bring to coaching.
My approach to coaching has been shaped by more than one career.
Nursing and counselling taught me to listen and to see the whole person. Leadership taught me about people, change, responsibility and the pressures we carry. My work in movement, menopause and wellbeing has deepened my understanding of how closely our physical and emotional wellbeing are connected.
Today, I bring those experiences together in the way I coach — looking at the whole woman, not just one part of her life.

Away from coaching
When I’m not coaching, you’ll usually find me teaching Clinical Pilates, out riding my bike, sailing, gardening or planning our next adventure — and enjoying a full but slower-paced life, lived on my terms.
I believe life is there to be lived — not perfectly, but fully. These days, I’m much more intentional about making space for the things and people that matter to me.
Enough about me. What about you?
Perhaps something in my story has resonated with you.
Maybe your life looks different from the one you imagined. Maybe you’ve spent so long being who everyone else needed you to be that you’re wondering where you fit now.
You don’t need to have the answers. Sometimes, you just need somewhere to begin.
